World University Students Outshine at District-Level Quiz

Sonia Kumari and  Komal Preet Kaur , Students of the Department of Education represented Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University at district level quiz competitions organized by the Language department, Punjab at Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib. Dr Sikander Singh, DSW shared that the quiz covered various aspects of Punjabi Culture, History and Punjab Polity and Punjabi Language. The quiz was conducted in written mode. Komal Preet Kaur secured second position in the competition. Dr Harneet Billing, Incharge Department of Education,  informed that the winners got a cash price of Rs 750 and Punjabi Mahan Kosh as the Prize. She expressed that the participation in the quiz boasted the confidence of the students and has also provided an opportunity to put the knowledge of students to test. Dr Prit Pal Singh, Vice Chancellor of the University applauded the efforts of the participants and encouraged them to participate in future too.
