Record-breaking gathering at  Khatu Shyam Falgun Mahotsav  at Hindu Sabha Temple Brampton

Canada (Brampton) Shree Khatu Shyam Parivaar, a group of hundreds of devotees of Khatu Shyam,  organized  Shree Khatu Shyam Falgun Mahotsav at  Hindu Sabha Temple Brampton, Canada. The huge congregation of devotees has gone viral on social media and become a hot topic of discussion among residents. 

Devotees from various parts of Brampton, Mississauga, and other towns reached the temple and many danced to the tune of Dhol while singing Bhajans of Shyaam. The function started with Shyam Dhwaja at 6 pm and later Aarti was performed. A special Bhajan Sandhya was organized, where Bhajan Singers performed and devotees danced with folded hands and the temple resonated with “Bolo Shyam Pyare ki Jai”. After that Raas (Phoolon Ki Holi) was organized. 

“It’s great to be here as I had never thought that I could see such function in Brampton. Everyone is feeling connected and we are thankful to all the organizers, who have taken this initiative. We request the organizers to keep organizing such functions” said some elated Shyam Bhagats. 

All devotees came with their families and attended the function till its end. The majority are confident that with such kinds of events, they would be able to connect their coming generations with their glorious religion. 

“When our children attend such functions, they get information about our religion. We have seen many kids with folded hands and in religious attire and   It made us very much happy. We are hopeful to see more such events in near future” said some more devotees. 

The number of Shree Khatu Shyam Parivar, Canada (Sh Shyam Bahadur Niwas) WhatsApp group and Facebook handle members has also been increasing since the event as more and more residents are joining.
