Modi College outshines at Punjabi University Inter-Zonal Youth Festival

Patiala: November 1, 2021- The different teams and individual students of Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala bagged various positions at Zonal Youth Festival held at Jasdev Singh Sandhu Group of Institutions, Kauli (Patiala) held from 28 to 31 October, 2021. College Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar congratulated the winners and their teacher Incharge for their dedication and hard work. Dr. Gufdeep Singh, Dean, Co-curricular Activities and head of Punjabi Department told that in the event of Geet/Ghazal Ms. Ravnoorpreet Kaur (B.Com.-II) stood first, in Poetical Recitation Ms. Reetu Kumar (BA-II) bagged 1^st position and in Photography Harshul Garg (BCom-III Honours) stood second in Patiala Zone.

Inter-Zonal Youth Festival

In Elocution Dilasha Malhi (B.A.-I) stood third, in Western Solo Ms. Ravnoorpreet Kaur stood third and Yashpal (BA-II) got the third position in Mimicry. In Team competitions, College Gidha Team, One Act Play Team, and Mime Team stood second.

Prabhjot Singh (BA-I) got Third position in Lok Saaz and Arshdeep Singh (BCA-I) also got third position in Classical Instrumental (Percussion) Competition.

The Group Shabad Team, Bhandh Team and Luddi (Girls) team also bagged third positions.

The winners of First and Second Positions will be participating in Punjabi University Inter-Zonal Competitions going to held at Punjabi University, Patiala Campus in November 2021.
