Food Safety Tram Collects Nine Samples in Nabha

Patiala, October 25: In order to maintain high standards of food items especially sweets, a team of food safety from Patiala led by DHO Dr. Shally inspected various Sweets Shops in Nabha today.


    Divulging the details, Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Hans said that a total of 9 samples comprising kalaakand, khoya burfi, besan ladoo, chena murki, milk cake, cham, green coconut burfi and cham cham (pink) were taken. Apart from that,  about 12 kgs of khoya burfi and 15 kgs of cham cham (pink coloured) were destroyed.  The food business operators were directed to follow Food Safety and Hygiene Guidelines, strictly.
