Cycle rally organized by District SVEEP Patiala with the slogan -We will vote hundred percent and make district Patiala proud

District SVEEP team in collaboration with the Election Literacy Clubs of various schools/colleges organised a cycle rally here on Tuesday to create an environment favourable for increase voter turnout.This rally was flagged off by Hon’ble Additional Deputy-Commissioner Ms. Kanchan and Assistant Returning Officer Patiala City Mr. Arvind Kumar. Before the start of the cycle rally, the District SVEEP Nodal Officer DR S S Rekhi administered the voter’s oath to the cyclists and the persons present on the ocassion. The rally was started from the A Block Mini Secretariat then passed through Thapar College Chowk, Leela Bhavan Chowk and returned back to the Mini Secretariat via Khanda Chowk. More than 100 members of Electoral Literacy Clubs participated in this rally.
District Sweep Icons (Disabled) Mr. Jagwinder Singh and Mr. Jagdeep Singh led the rally and appealed to the youth and disabled voters of the city to cast their precious vote and participate in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. District Social Security Officer Mr. Varinder Singh Bains were also present on the ocassion. Employees of the CDPO Patiala Urban prepared rangolis for voter awareness at the starting point of the rally. The volunteers who participated in the cycle rally were wearing t-shirts having SVEEP Logo and the slogan of ‘I Vote for Sure’. Certificates of appreciation were given to all participants. In this rally, Election Tehsildar Mr. Vijay Choudhary, Nidhi Malhotra (DDF) Mr. Pawan Kumar Goyal of Goyal Charitable Foundation Trust NGO, Assistant District Nodal Officer Mr. Mohit Kaushal, Rupinder Singh, Manoj Thapar, Narinder Singh, Barinder Singh, Pooja Chawla, Ramnik and Simar graced the occasion with their presence
