Patiala ; 06 Ryanites of Ryan International School, Patiala participated in the World Scholar’s Cup, Chandigarh Round – 2023 on 04th and 05th May 2023. They competed in four events: The Scholar’s Challenge, Collaborative Writing, The Team Debate, and the Scholar’s Bowl. In addition to these, they also participated in non – competitive activities like Talent Hunt and Debate Showcase.
Their hard work of month-long preparations bore fruits when the results were announced at the Closing Ceremony. From Team 347, Ms. Lagan Goyal bagged 6 Gold Medals & 1 Silver Medal, Ms. Ishleen Singh got 3 Gold Medals & 2 Silver Medals, and Mst. Anantveer Singh achieved 2 Gold Medals & 4 Silver Medals.

From Team 348, Ms. Rhythmjot Kaur bagged 1 Gold Medal & 4 Silver Medals, Ms. Anmolrattan Kaur got 3 Gold Medals & 3 Silver Medals, and Mst. Abhiraj Mehsempuri achieved 4 Gold Medals & 3 Silver Medals.
It is mention worthy that Team 347 bagged a Trophy for Team Debate whereas Team 348 bagged a Trophy for Team Writing and Ms. Lagan Goyal was also the Top Debater of all the participants from 30 prominent schools of Punjab, a school from Delhi & Mumbai.

Both teams are qualified for the upcoming Global Rounds in Doha, Bangkok, Xiamen, Gold Coast, and London Global Rounds and their collective medal tally is 36 Medals and 2 Trophies. Feeling immensely proud of their achievement, the Principal, Mrs. Pooja Sharma congratulated and felicitated the students for their exemplary achievement.
