MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATION AT DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, PATIALA

A special pool party and a cultural programme was organized by the kindergarten students of DPS, Patiala to celebrate Mother’s Day on 20 May 2023. The main idea was to highlight the importance of a mother in the life of a child and to make our mothers feel special.

To make the celebration more festive, mothers of the students of the kindergarten section were invited to the school to be a part of the colorful celebration. The mothers received a warm welcome from the school staff. The tiny tots came up with their enthusiastic dance performance to convey gratitude to their moms for their unconditional love.

The moms, as well as the students, had a splendid time together in various fun games planned by the teachers such as grab the ball, musical chairs, tambola, and many more. It was a pleasure watching the super excited moms with their dynamic and energetic children during these activities. The main attraction of the event was a pool party where the mothers enjoyed various water games. They enjoyed themselves to the fullest in the cool and mollifying water of the pool. The winners of various games were awarded with gifts as a token of love.

At last, The Academic Coordinator of the school, Ms. Shweta presented a vote of thanks where she thanked all the mothers for giving their valuable time for making this function a success.

All in all, it was an enjoyable and memorable day for everyone.
