Modi College Wins Inter College Football (Women) Championship

      Multani Mal Modi College has won the Punjabi University Inter-College Football Championship (Women) by defeating the team of University College, Ghanour. The championship was organized at Punjabi University, Patiala campus.

While welcoming the winning team at the college, the college Principal, Dr. Khushvinder Kumar congratulated the team members and assured that college will keep on providing the best facilities to the college sports persons. The Principal said that these sportspersons will be duly rewarded during the Annual Prize Distribution Function of the College.

Dr. Nishan Singh, Dean, Sports of the College congratulated the winning team and informed that this success was made possible under the able captaincy of Promila and joint efforts of the whole team. The college team comprised of Priyanka, Pooja, Komal, Angel, Sukhdeep Kaur, Priyanka, Sukhwinder Kaur, Shivani, Tanisha, Alka, Ramandeep Kaur, Manpreet Kaur, Anureet and Jyoti.

The Principal applauded the sincere efforts of Dr. Nishan Singh, Head, Sports Dept., Dr. Harneet Singh and Prof. (Ms.) Mandeep Kaur.
