Modi College pays tribute to CDS Bipin Rawat and other brave hearts of Helicopter Crash

Patiala: December 11, 2021: The NCC (Girls Wing) of Multani Mal Modi College today pay tribute to CDS Bipin Rawat and other brave hearts of unfortunate Helicopter Crash on 8^th December, 2021. In remembrance of the martyrs a candle march was organised by the cadets under the supervision of Dr. Nidhi Rani Gupta, CTO of the NCC girls wing under 4PB girls BN (NCC), Patiala.

College principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar while joining the candle march said that it is a sad and unfortunate moment of Indian history when we have lost our chief of defence staff General Bipin Rawat who was killed along with his wife and 11 other security personnel in an IAF helicopter crash near Coonoor in Tamilnadu.

Dr. Nidhi Rani Gupta said that we as a unit are standing with the nation in this time of mourning and hope that our nation stands strong after this sudden shock. All girls cadets of NCC were present during this candle tribute.
