World University to Host Career Fair on 9th April 2024

Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib, is proud to announce the hosting of its much-anticipated “Career Fair-2024” on 9th April 2024.
This marks the fifth edition of the career fair, reaffirming the University’s commitment to providing invaluable opportunities for its students. Dr. Ajaib Singh Brar, Pro-Vice Chancellor, and Dr. Pritpal Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the University, highlighted the significance of the career fair in benefiting a maximum number of students.
They emphasized that in addition to the job fair, the University regularly organizes various placement drives for its students and nearby campuses. Last year’s event witnessed an overwhelming response, with over 500 students from 30 colleges and 15 companies shortlisting about 120 students on a single day.
A diverse array of esteemed companies, including Lenskart, Decathlon, Akal Academy, Oppo Mobiles, EClerx, Hoping Minds, Cigma Feeds, Arjas Steel, YHills, Corizo Edutech, Alembic Pharmaceuticals, Talent Belter, Just Dial, MWIDM India, Relinns, AU Small Finance Bank, and Paras Hospital, among others, will be participating in the fair. These companies will be recruiting students from various postgraduate and graduate programmes in Engineering (Computer Sciences, Biotechnology, and Food Processing Technology), Sciences, MBA, M.Com, BBA, B.Com, MCA, BCA, Agriculture, Engineering, and Diploma programmes.
The Career Fair is expected to witness a significant footfall of around 700 students from more than 50 Universities and Colleges across Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
Prof. (Dr.) S.S. Billing, Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. (Dr.) Tejbir Singh, Registrar, and Dr. Kamaljit Kaur, In charge, Training and Placements, will be actively participating in this esteemed occasion.
