Gangster on bail Kulbir Naruana shot dead by accomplice.

Kulbir Singh Naruana(39), a gangster facing 15 above cases and on bail was today shot dead by his former accomplice Mandeep Singh alias Manna at his home in village Naruana here today. The accused had been a private gunman to the gangster turned politician earlier.
As per information available the accused and deceased gangster had estranged relationship owing to which they were trying to patch up.
Manna had come to meet Kulbir Naruana to sort out differences and they shared tea. After sometime the accused called the gangster in his vehicle Fortuner and fired 5 shots on him killing him on the spot.
Another aide Charanjeet Singh was run over dead by Manna while trying to escape.
District police chief Bhupinder Singh Virk said they have registered a case and provided security to the accused’s family fearing backfire by Kulbir Naruana supporter.
“We have arrested the accused who is under going treatment of bullet injury at civil hospital” said Virk.
Regarding the cause of attack, he said that the police is investigating the case minutely to assertain the reason behind the killing.
Meanwhile another injured Gurpreet Singh, close aide of Naruana is in a private hospital injured seriously.
The bodies of Naruana and Chamkaur have been taken to civil hospital for the postmortem.
It is pertinent to mention that few days back, Naruana was attacked on his car on Malout road in Bathinda at night, but he escaped unhurt due to his bullet proof car.
