INDIA(Madhya Pradesh)The eye doctor of Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri district hospital removed the worm that had entered the eye of a three-year-old child in a mere 15-minute operation. On the night of 22 August, A worm entered the eye of Kuldeep, son of Virendra Adivasi, living in Shivpuri village. Seeing their child in pain, the family members immediately took him to the district hospital where they told doctor Girish Chaturvedi about the pain of the child.
The child’s eye was swollen. After this, the child’s tests were done and during the examination, Dr. Girish Chaturvedi saw a worm in the child’s eye. After this, he did a small operation and removed the worm from Kuldeep’s eye.
Doctor Girish Chaturvedi said the worm had entered the child’s eye by making a hole near the tear duct. The worm was repeatedly trying to pierce the child’s eye, due to which blood started coming out from the eye. The doctor said a small operation had to be done to remove the worm from the child’s eye. The operation took about 15 minutes. After which the worm was removed from the child’s eye.
He said that for the first time, such a case has come to the fore in his life and at present the child is healthy.
