US President Joe Biden signs law banning Chinese tech firms Huwaei, ZTE from doing business in the country

In a bid to counter threats posed by Chinese technology firms, US President Joe Biden signed a law to ban big-time Chinese tech corporations like Huawei and ZTE from attaining approval for network equipment licenses in the states.

The new legislation, which is termed the ‘Secure Equipment Act of 2021’ had got bipartisan support before it was signed by the president himself, said a ZDNet report on Friday.
