A Quiz Competition in Govt. State College of Education in Lieu of Earth Day Celebration

Patiala: A quiz competition to celebrate ‘Earth Day’ was conducted by Eco-Club under the mission Life; Life Style for Environment initiative of the Ministry of Environment Forest & Climate Change and Punjab State Council for Science & Technology. A wall magazine in this context was also set up. A total of five teams participated in the college team Satluj bagged the first position, Jhelum team stood second and team Chanab bagged the third position.

Dr. Paramvir Singh Professor, Department of Sports Sciences, Punjabi University, Patiala was the guest of honor. The Principal, Dr. Parminder Singh welcomed the chief guest and wished the best of luck to the participating teams. The elected Eco-Club council members and organizing team of students carried out the quiz successfully. Asst. Prof. Navdeep Kamboj conducted the quiz as a quiz master. The stage was anchored by Ms. Navdeep and Archita. The introduction of the guest was given by Dr. Yogita Sarwal. Dr. Manpreet Kaur thanked the guests. All the faculty members & students were present in the program
