Ruchi Kalra appointed Press Secretary to Punjab Governor

Chandigarh, November 18: The senior-most Information and Public Relations Officer from the Directorate of Information and Public Relations Punjab, Ruchi Kalra has been appointed as the Information Officer(I.O) Media(known as Press Secretary in common parlance) to Shri Banwarilal Purohit  Governor of Punjab and the Administrator UT Chandigarh.

With a career spanning over two decades, Mrs. Kalra has vast experience of working in the field as well as at headquarters. Seen always on duty at almost all State Level events in varied capacities, the lady officer is well known for her gift of gab.

With a Master’s Degree in English and a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management, the lady officer is equally proficient in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. She is always remembered, appreciated, and praised generously by the listeners for gracefully conducting high-profile events.

Having covered a long, arduous journey from her birthplace the Holy City(Amritsar) to the City Beautiful(Chandigarh), this humble, down-to-earth officer is expected to carve a niche soon in the Punjab Raj Bhawan.
