The Gram Panchayat of Ageta village in Nabha block has set an example for others by showing disregard to all rumors that are being spread by irresponsible people against Corona warriors, doctors and other health workers. The Panchayat of Ageta village has passed a resolution assuring its full support to the Corona Warriors under the ‘Mission Fateh’ campaign being luanched by the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh to stop further spread of COVID-19.
Expressing satisfaction over the new guidelines issued by the Punjab Government, Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Mrs. Harpreet Kaur along with Panchayat members Rano Kaur, Harbant Singh, Khushpreet Singh and former Sarpanch and Nambardar Harjit Singh said that the efforts being put by the Punjab Government including the district Civil and Police administration, Health Department to prevent the spread of Corona virus infection, are worth commendable and the entire village and the Panchayat fully support these efforts.
On this occasion, Probationer DSP Mandeep Kaur and SHO of Sadar Nabha police station Inspector Sukhdev Singh and other dignitaries were also present.
Meanwhile, SSP Patiala Vikram Jeet Duggal has appealed to the general public not to believe any rumor against the Corona virus and doctors, Asha workers and other such corona fighters. Apart from this, any kind of information regarding such miscreant elements and rumors can be given on WhatsApp portal 96468-00112. Alternatively one can call the helpline on 0175-2350550 and 62843-57500 for any queries regarding Covid-19.
“The anti-social elements who spread rumors will not be spared,” he said. He appealed to the people to support the Patiala police and the administration in their efforts to curb the spread of the epidemic.
