Modi College Wins Inter College Football (Men) Championship

Patiala: 21 March 2022 

             Multani Mal Modi College has won the Punjabi University Inter-College Football Championship (Men) by defeating the team of Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib. The championship was organized at Punjabi University, Patiala campus.

While welcoming the winning team at the college, the college Principal, Dr. Khushvinder Kumar congratulated the team members and mentioned that it was a tough match well played.

Dr. Nishan Singh, Dean, Sports of the College congratulated the winning team and informed that this success was made possible by the whole team. The college team comprised of Ranbir Singh, Gurfarid Singh, Akash Maan Chaudhry, Pargat Singh Chaudhary, Govind Thapa, Ramandeep Singh, Lucky, Ajay, Prabhjot Singh, Jagmeet Singh, Manjot Bedi, Arshdeep Singh, Antargyan Singh, Sarthak Bassi, Manpreet Singh, Harpreet Singh, Anil Kumar, Himanshu Rawat, Lovedeep Singh, and Sunil Kumar.

The Principal applauded the sincere efforts of Dr. Nishan Singh, Head, Sports Dept., Dr. Harneet Singh, and Prof. (Ms.) Mandeep Kaur.

Today, Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala is organizing Cyclothon (Cycle Rally) on the occasion of 75^th Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in collaboration with Petroleum Conservation Research Association, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India on March 22, 2022.
