Alumni Meet Organized at Multani Mal Modi College

                   Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala today organized an Interactive session and informative dialogue with College Alumni working in schools to celebrate their professional and personal success stories and for developing liaison regarding educational and academic future plans. 69 Principals teachers from 45 schools participated.

The meet started with a welcome note and a brief introduction of the achievements and accomplishments of the college in the previous years. College Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar addressed the meet and said that our students are our biggest source of pride and inspiration. He told that most of our old students are serving on responsible and powerful administrative, academic and competitive positions beside contributing for social welfare and philanthropic activities. He emphasized upon the need for developing the further vertical linkages between institutions of higher learning and schools.

During the interaction with the alumni the Vice president of the Alumni Association Dr. B.B Singla invited the association members to share their experiences and expertise with the new students and advised them to guide and support the coming generations. They shared with each other their career paths and the guidance and support provided by the college and their subject teachers for achievement of their dreams.

Dr. Bhanvi Wadhawan , Assistant professor from life Sciences Department  elaborated various courses and professional training programmes provided by the college. A virtual tour of the college was also organized by the college. The students of the college enacted a play based on the environmental crisis and climate change. Ms. Ravnoor Kaur presented a song on this occasion.

Brig. (Retd.) Dr. S. S. Parmar, President of the Alumni Association appreciated the quality education and infrastructure of the Modi College and said that today it is considered one of the best educational institution of north India. Dr. Manik Singla, Secretary appreciated the efforts and hard work of management Committee, principal and faculty teachers for maintaining the reputation and integrity of the institution intact.

Around 100 alumni participated in this event. All staff members were present on the occasion.
