Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University is organizing its “Career Fair-2022” on 24th May 2022 on a large scale for the fourth time. Dr. Ajaib Singh Brar, the Pro- chancellor, and Dr. Pritpal Singh, the Vice-Chancellor of the University briefed that the job fair will benefit a large number of students. He further added that besides job fairs, the University organises various placement drives for the University students and nearby campuses, on regular basis. He appreciated the overwhelming response to the job fair. There were over 500 students from 30 colleges last year with 15 companies shortlisting about 120 students in a single day.
Companies from various spheres like Oppo Mobile, Jaro Education, C-core India, Tiwana Oil Mill, Weikfield Foods, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Manipal Hospitals, Simba Quartz Pvt. Ltd, BYJU’s, and many more are participating to recruit the students. They will recruit the students of Postgraduate & Graduate courses in Engineering (Computer Sciences, Biotechnology, Food Processing Technology), Sciences, MBA, M.Com., BBA, B.Com., MCA, BCA & Agriculture, Engineering Diploma students. The footfall of around 700 students from more than 50 Universities and Colleges of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, U.P., and Rajasthan is expected for the fair.
Prof. (Dr.) S.S. Billing, Dean of Academic Affairs will be present on this occasion. Prof. (Dr.) C. Rajesh, Prof. Incharge, Placements, and Ms. Jaspreet Kaur Sandhu, DTPO are the main organizers.
